    When do you switch contracts for Futures Expiration June 2013 ?
    When do Futures Contracts Rollover and Settlement Dates? 
    Seem to get these questions a lot prior and after expirations– some brokers automatically change the tickers for you but some do not
    2013 Futures Rollover Update : They roll over the Thursday before  expiration
    Futures rollover is Thursday June 13th , 2013 and Settlement is Friday Jun 21st, 2013.
    Emini Futures – ESM3 changes to ESU3
    Nasdaq Futures – NQM3 changes to NQU3
    Dow Mini Futures -YMM3 changes to YMU3
    Russell Futures – TFM3 changes to TFU3

    Sept 2013 – Futures Rollover is Thursday, September 12th, 2013 and Settlement date is Friday, September 20th, 2013 – tickers change from ESU3 to ESZ3
    December 2013 – Futures Rollover is Thursday, December 12th, 2013 and Settlement date is Friday, December 20th, 2013

    Reminder : June 2013  is also Quarterly Expiration for options : known as Quadruple Witching-

    When does Quadruple Witching happen? It happens on the third (3rd) Friday of the following months ( March, June, September and December) –
    This year that happens on Friday June 21st , 2013 so look for some extra volatility and plenty of stocks pinning at key levels like we’ve seen happen on so many Expiration dates before
