1 引 言
对生物视觉系统来说，运动感知是其基本功能之一，而对于计算机视觉研究而言，运动分析也是其中的一个重要内容。人类作为一种高级生物，对其视觉功能及实现机制的研究，涉及到心理学、神经生理学等多门学科。在人类视觉运动感知能力方面，目前为大多数视觉心理学研究者所认同的理论是：人类视觉运动感知系统由三个子系统组成[1,2]，即一阶系统、二阶系统和三阶系统，其中，一阶运动系统主要感知亮度的运动，即所谓的一阶运动，二阶运动系统主要感知由对比度、空间频率、闪烁频率等特征定义的二阶运动，三阶运动系统则根据输入景象的显著性图计算由显著性特征定义的三阶运动。另一方面，现有的计算机视觉运动分析技术仅利用输入景象的灰度信息检测、估计和分析景象中存在的运动，可以认为是仅具备了一阶运动的感知能力。因此，将视觉心理学关于人类视觉运动感知的有关理论、模型等引入计算机视觉研究中，对于提高计算机视觉运动分析系统的适应性显然是有益的。进一步地，考虑到三阶运动系统理论较新，其计算算法仍不清楚，可将二阶运动的感知作为首要的研究工作。而研究计算机二阶运动感知的一个基本问题，就是通过对二阶运动的内在本质进行深入的分析，找出自然场景中所存在的二阶运动现象。因为只有自然场景中存在二阶运动现象，我们的研究才是有价值的，而这些二阶运动现象，也是研究成果的应用对象。文献[3]指出所有二阶运动可归结为如下三类：1）两信号的乘积；2）某种信号自身在成像平面上投影的变化；3）1、2两类共同作用的结果，但并未对自然场景中的二阶运动现象进行分析......

[摘要]
心理物理学实验中涉及的二阶运动信号已经被研究得非常多了，但自然场景中表现出的二阶运动现象还未得到深入研究。本文指出，自然场景中的光照变化、半透明前景、遮挡、非刚性物体运动等是产生二阶运动的主要因素，并进一步指出，与心理物理学实验中常用的纯一阶或二阶运动信号相比，自然场景中的一阶和二阶运动可能同时存在于相同的位置，这给运动的正确计算带来了困难。
