H.G. Dosch is Professor Emeritus of physics at the Institute of Theoretical Physics at the University of Heidelberg. He received his PhD in theoretical physics in 1963 and his thesis advisors were the Nobel laureate J.H. D. Jensen and Berthold Stech. He has coauthored a monograph titled 'Pomeron Physics and QCD'.
